Health:

It is safe to eat food in different establishments. The tap water won’t kill you, but tastes of salt so only good for brushing your teeth. Ice cubes are perfectly safe too.

Make sure you wash your hands before eating - it is easy to pick up a stomach bug.
If you have a stomach bug we can get you an antiseptic pill.

If you have diarrhea it is most likely a stomach bug - don’t wait it out.

Hospitals and pharmacies can be found on dianibeach.me

Safari

We will be picked up at 6.30am and spend a night and two days in the national park. There will be two game drives on the first day and an early morning drive on the second. It is about 4hrs drive to the game park

Normal Diani wear is good enough.

Bring: sunscreen, sunglasses, sweater (for early morning drive), mosquito repellent, camera, hat (optional), and binoculars (if you have them).

Security

Diani Beach is very safe, but don’t do anything you would not do in London or New York.

At night, It is better not to walk alone on the beach or on empty roads. Plenty of Tuk Tuks and motor bikes to take you home.
