The Spot
You will be on the best kite spot in Kenya: Diani Galu Beach.
Diani Beach is an amazing kitesurfing location. Smooth thermal winds and is good for every kite level and great for progression and learning.
Sandy white beaches and tropical coloured waters (no wetsuit required).
Wind conditions for 12-14sqm and certain time of the day 9s. The downwinders are epic too.

The Group
Since the first Kite Trip in 2018 we have had nearly 90 kitesurfers on the Kenya Kite trips. All amazing and fun people and riding levels from absolute beginners to advanced riders.
Solo travellers, friend groups, couples, partners, non-kiters, absolute beginners they all have joined the trip, and a good mix of male, female and ages too.
We have had great kitesurfing, amazing wind, awesome downwinders, beautiful game safaris, and a lot of tasty food prepared by the resident chef.
Accommodation
We offer three accommodation packages: basic, standard and luxury:
Basic from $1,500.
Standard from $1700
Luxury from $1900
All accommodation is located on the same compound and 4 minutes walking distance from the beach.
All packages include:
Two weeks accommodation at the best kite spot in Kenya.
Half Board - delicious meals by the resident chef.
Airport Transfers - Ukunda or Mombasa.
Two day Game Safari to Tsavo East (incl. transport, game drives and a night in a safari lodge).
Kite storage on the beach
Beach service - kite pumping, launching and landing.
Introduction to Winging (on the beach).
Excluded: flights, gear rental, kite lessons and other trips

Safari
Included in the package is a game safari to Tsavo East - one of the largest national parks in Kenya.
We will be picked up 6.30am and spend a night and two days in the national park.
There will be two game drives on the first day and an early morning drive on the second.
Back in time for a sunset kite sesh.
On previous trips we have seen: elephants, lions, cheetahs, hippos, leopards, giraffes, zebras and a lot of other animals and birds.
Visa & Immunisation
You require a visa to enter Kenya ($50), which you can get online (evisa.go.ke). Please ask for contact details and invitation letter.
You will require immunisation/ jabs (please consult your doctor or travel clinic). Recommended immunisation here.
Diani is officially a Malaria area, but is up to you if you take anti-malarials (fyi: pills are a lot cheaper in Kenya).
Flights to Mombasa
Fly to Mombasa (MBA) via Nairobi, Doha, Amsterdam, Dubai, Addis Ababa or Frankfurt.
International Airlines: Kenya Airways, Qatar, Airways, Emirates, Ethiopian, KLM, Lufthansa.
You will be picked up from the airport.
Local Airport Diani Beach
Alternatively, fly to Nairobi (NBO) and then domestic to closest airport: Ukunda.

Train
Or you can take a train (SGR) from Nairobi to Mombasa - for the experience.
Travel Insurance: Make sure you have travel insurance. Always check your insurance policy & coverage!
Other things to do
Diani Beach offers a range of other activities - if you have the energy after kitesurfing.
You can choose from:
Diving, Snorkeling, SUP, Canoe, Fishing, Jet Ski, Surfing.
Day Trips: Wasini Island (incl. Marine Park), Bush Baby Feeding, Shimba Hills (Quad Bike, Mountain Bike, Waterfall or Sundowner).
